Capriccio came under new ownership in 2017, after the devastation of Hurricane Irma made it necessary to renovate. In 2018 we reopened our doors with the objective of keeping true to its 30 year legacy; simple, fresh recipes of traditional Italian fare, at an inexpensive price point. In 2025, we took that same concept to the waters edge and opened our second restaurant at Hodges Creek Marina. Welcome to Capriccio on the Town, and its new sister, Capriccio on the Dock.

Resident BVI lawyers, Mark and Anton wanted to capture the outdoor experience with a town centre convenience at Capriccio on the Town. The garden area gives options for shade and plenty of greenery complimenting the relaxed sofa feel of the bar. A colourful tiled floor and authentic shutters blend Puerto Rico with local architecture, and with open sides the breeze is never far away from our covered dining area.

By contrast, the spacious dockside venue at Hodges Creek blends a steady breeze with the quiet marina sounds of boat masts and provisioning activity. In addition we have added a deli feel to Capriccio on the Dock with cured meats and cheeses imported from Italy, and a resident baker creating fresh baked goods on a daily basis.
